The $1.5+ trillion company has enough weight to pull down the indices with a move like this, and we saw the Nasdaq fall close to 2.5%, and the S&amp;P 500 fall 1.43%.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-685806\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gomarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/unnamed.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1835\" height=\"869\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gomarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/unnamed.png 1835w, https:\/\/www.gomarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/unnamed-300x142.png 300w, https:\/\/www.gomarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/unnamed-1024x485.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.gomarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/unnamed-768x364.png 768w, https:\/\/www.gomarkets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/unnamed-1536x727.png 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1835px) 100vw, 1835px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This sell-off has landed the S&amp;P 500 heavily into a horizontal support zone around 4,170-4,200, so we will be watching to see if this level can hold. After a temporary spike up to 63.991, price has fallen away aggressively, down over 1.4% since yesterday\u2019s highs.<\/p>\n<p>US dollar strength cleared any CPI gains, after markets shifted back into risk-off mode with the disappointing tech earnings and escalating tensions in the middle east.<\/p>\n<p>Later today we will have some US GDP data out, plus the ECB is releasing their latest interest rate decision.
